About the executive Board of SHA, the student union of the University of Akureyri
Under the Student Council operates the Executive Board of the association. It consists of the President, Student Rights Officer, Operations Manager, Events Manager, International Officer, and Communications Officer of SHA.
The day-to-day operations of the association are carried out by the Executive Board at the SHA office, located in the D-building. The office can be contacted via the emails and phone numbers provided below.
At the office of the Student Association of the University of Akureyri, students can receive assistance with disputes that may arise within the university. Guidance is provided on how to proceed with such matters and how students can assert their rights within the University of Akureyri. The office also provides general information on student rights and the available channels for resolving various issues.
The Executive Board handles individual student rights cases upon request. Full anonymity is maintained unless otherwise agreed. We strive to resolve all matters as quickly and effectively as possible or refer them to the appropriate authorities.
Students are also always welcome to stop by for a coffee and a chat.
The Executive Board does not make decisions regarding the association’s commitments without the approval of the majority of the Student Council.
