Publication of Final Exams
In spring 2026, the Executive Board of SHA requested access to all final examinations sat at the University of Akureyri in 2025. These have now been handed over, and students can access them here:

The aim of providing access to past examinations is not to encourage rote learning or to enable students to repeat previous examinations. Students' experience shows that access to past examinations gives them insight into how knowledge is assessed, which skills are emphasised and what depth of coverage is expected in final examinations. This promotes greater equality among students and more focused preparation, and reduces uncertainty.
Please note!
Exempt are final examinations that have remained unchanged from year to year, as well as the numerus clausus examinations in nursing and psychology.
